Work description

Although South Seas maintains a core workforce of permanent employees year-round, the predictable seasonal increase in business creates a temporary need for additional workers. The requested H-2B workers will supplement, not replace, the resort's existing workforce and will be employed only during the period of seasonal need. The requested H-2B workers are needed not only to support recurring seasonal demand but also to accommodate the increased operational requirements associated with the expansion of guest accommodations, food and beverage operations, banquet services, and event facilities. These temporary workers are necessary to enable South Seas to meet guest demand, maintain operational standards, support expanded lodging inventory, accommodate increased restaurant and banquet activity, and sustain the continued growth of the resort following its extensive post-hurricane redevelopment efforts. Accordingly, South Seas seeks temporary H-2B workers to address its seasonal staffing shortage and support resort operations during its recurring period of peak business activity. The requested H-2B staff will return to their home countries at the conclusion of the season. We are requesting seasonal support for our property's peak season, which runs from October 1 through July 1. Upon completion of the approved employment period, these temporary positions will conclude as seasonal demand subsides and staffing requirements return to normal operating levels. Please see attached company statement.
