Work description
First Line Supervisor to perform the following duties (Crops: All row crop vegetables and leafy greens) • Work under the direction of the Operations Manager • Supervise and coordinate activities of agricultural workers engaged in maintenance, pre-harvest, harvest and other related field work. • Assign daily tasks as directed by management and ensure workers are present and performing assigned duties. • Monitor work progress and report productivity and work conditions to management. • Observe workers to ensure compliance with safety and food safety policies and report violations to management. • Provide instruction and demonstration of assigned tasks and proper use of tools and equipment. • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets established quality standards. • Record daily production information. • Review time records for completeness and report discrepancies. • Distribute tools and materials as directed and report inventory needs to management. • Perform other related supervisory duties as directed by management.
