Work description
This letter is submitted to support the labor certification application and I-129 petition of Green Dream Lawns, LLC on behalf of multiple (13) aliens. Our company is engaged in the Landscape Winterization business Williamson, Bell, Travis, McLennan, and Coryell Counties, Texas. Our services include Removal and trimming of trees and bushes from the ground; raking and cleaning up ground, leaf removal, and leftover debris; disposal of brush, limbs, and trees; winter landscape planting including hollies and other evergreens, spreading mulch; perennial rye grass installation, application and fertilization, winterizing plants and trees to protect from freezes with winter maintenance of yards with drainage control; annual winter color installs; perennial cutbacks, pruning, and dead heading; property wide mulch installation, application and fertilization to protect plants, and winterization and draining of sprinkler system; retention pond cleanouts. Ice remediation and salt application. Loading and unloading materials and equipment. The dates during which most of our business activity occur, and during which we have the most need for temporary seasonal workers, are October 1, 2026, to April 7, 2027. Our company has been engaged in business since 2022 and has gross revenues of $524,863.00 for the last fiscal year. We will supply names for these workers immediately upon recruiting them. Our company currently has a temporary need for the services of laborers to perform manual labor associated with type of work such as Removal and trimming of trees and bushes from the ground; raking and cleaning up ground, leaf removal, and leftover debris; disposal of brush, limbs, and trees; winter landscape planting including hollies and other evergreens, spreading mulch; perennial rye grass installation, application and fertilization, winterizing plants and trees to protect from freezes with winter maintenance of yards with drainage control; annual winter color installs; perennial cutbacks, pruning, and dead heading; property wide mulch installation, application and fertilization to protect plants, and winterization and draining of sprinkler system; retention pond cleanouts. Ice remediation and salt application. Loading and unloading materials and equipment. No education required. On the job training provided. 3 months of verifiable job-related experience required. Transportation is provided to and from area worksites at employers expense from centralized pick-up location in the above specified area of employment. Our company has a temporary seasonal need for people with these skills because our busiest seasons are traditionally tied to the spring, summer and fall months, from approximately October 1st to April 7th, during which time we need to substantially supplement the number of workers for our labor force for these positions. As is well known, Texas spring and summer months (during which time our business slows significantly each year due to the hot weather conditions) are normally predictable, and it is possible for us to predict that these dates are regularly when the slowest part of the season will be. Historically, the winter dates of October 1st through April 7th are the dates that we have the most need for workers and therefore we need the temporary seasonal workers during these winter months (we do however continue to employ some year-round workers). Our temporary seasonal workers are only needed during our busy season and do not become a part of our permanent labor force. Due to the nature of our work, we are unable to engage in much business during the off-season months, of approximately April 7th to October 1st, because the hot weather is not conducive to job duties of Removal and trimming of trees and bushes from the ground; raking and cleaning up ground, leaf removal, and leftover debris; disposal of brush, limbs, and trees; winter landscape planting
