- Pay deductions:
- The employer will make the following deductions from the worker's wages: FICA, Medicare and income taxes as required by law; cash advances and repayment of loans; repayment of overpayment of wages to the worker; long distance telephone charges; recovery of any loss to the employer due to the worker's damage beyond normal wear and tear, or loss of equipment or housing items where it is shown that the worker is responsible. No deduction not required or permitted by law will be made that brings the worker's hourly earnings below the federal minimum wage.

Work description
First-line supervisors have no authority to directly hire or discharge workers. However, first-line supervisors may be instructed by management to give warnings or take disciplinary action against workers not following protocols. Will oversee the quality of work performed by the workers. Worker will be responsible for providing field workers with necessary water supply, and work tools. Workers may be required to assist in the completion of the fieldwork being performed. Worker may be required to operate farm vehicles to move between field locations. Worker will be required to communicate with other supervisors and farm management to determine production requirements, conditions of equipment and supplies, and work schedules. The alternative work is truck maintenance and farm maintenance – including the repair, irrigation, vehicles and various equipment and tools used on the farm. Must be able to work in fields where ants, snakes and poison ivy are encountered. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic devices during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination. Operate equipment used to harvest crops. Required to have a valid and unexpired Federal Farm Labor Contractor or Federal Farm Labor Contractor Employee Registration with driving authorization. Will be responsible for operating the motorized vehicles and equipment used to move crops on the farm. Must be able to safely operate the buses that are used to transport workers to and from worksites. Should be able to provide proof of accident-free driving record and background. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Must be able to reach, bend and lift items weighing 70 pounds. Must be able to work outdoors in dusty/dirty conditions, in extreme heat and cold inclement weather. Worker will provide supervision to crew members in the farm laborer/hand harvester positions, monitor workers to ensure that safety regulations are followed, warning or disciplining those who violate safety regulations.
