Pay deductions:

Work description

Workers will apply compost and fertilizer to palm trees using a shovel. Workers will irrigate the palm trees through the use of simple plumbing tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears and knives, and ensure the plumbing is fixed; drained, and maintained in proper working conditions. Workers will dethorn palms by using lettuce knives and machetes. Workers will collect pollen. Workers will be required to be at a high level from the ground (20 feet) by being lifted on a forklift. Workers will apply pollen to palm trees by using knives and pollen guns for dates. Workers shall work under hot conditions in the summer, and might be exposed to extreme temperatures. Palm trees will be thinned by using garden scissors and de-centered will be conducted by hand. Workers will bag dates. Once dates are ready, workers will harvest and they will be transferred to the packing facility. Workers will pack fruit. Workers will use brooms, mops and water squeegees while at packing facility. Workers might be required to assemble card board boxes, and build pallets using drills and screwdrivers. Workers will load Pallets into trucks either by hand or with the use of a forklift and pallet jacks. Workers shall be required to lift up to 40 lbs. All tools and equipment will be provided to the workers by the employer. Workers will exercise repetitive motions, and might be required to perform extensive walking, stooping, kneeling, bending over, pushing and or pulling.
