Work description
Muscha Farm Equipment, Inc. seeks one seasonal agricultural worker for the period of November through March/April. Worker will inspect, maintain, and repair agricultural equipment during the crop off-season, including diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring all machinery is operational for the upcoming planting season. Work will be performed in shop and outdoor environments, including cold weather. During winter months, worker will also perform daily cattle care, including feeding, watering, monitoring herd health, cleaning pens, and reporting any illness or injury. This livestock work is more intensive in winter, as cattle are kept near the farm and require daily attention, unlike summer months when they are on pasture. Work requires ability to lift 50 lbs., operate tools and equipment safely, and follow employer instructions. Hours may vary based on workload, weather, and animal needs. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all local and federal regulations regarding work hours, breaks, and safety protocols. Employment may be terminated for the following reasons: Repeated absenteeism or tardiness. Violation of safety protocols. Failure to perform job duties satisfactorily. Misconduct or insubordination. Substance abuse on the job and operating machinery and vehicles. Must speak and understand English.
