Work description
General farm workers needed for crawfish season. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, operate motorized crawfish boats; lifting traps from pond & emptying crawfish into sacks; baiting of traps; load & unload sacks on trucks; grading crawfish; lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repair traps as needed; repetitive movements, frequent stooping and lifting, and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost; housing provided on the premises at no cost; transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
