Fence Erector

Work description

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 47-4031 Fence Erector such as the following: Break ice, thaw lines; Drive side by side; Haul water; Establish the location for a fence, and gather information needed to ensure that there are no electric cables or water lines in the area; Set posts in upright position; Align posts, by lines or sighting, and verify vertical alignment of posts; Attach hot wire along tops of posts via insulators; Use spades, posthole diggers, or power-driven augers; Attach using hammers and pliers; Assemble gates, and fasten gates into position; Stretch wire between posts; Construct barriers and other types of fences, walls, and gates; Administer medicine and feed as necessary; Move stockers to corn stalks; Monitor health; Drive machine such as and not limited to Harsh mixer; Monitor solar shocker and replace/repair as needed; Speak and understand English.
