Pay deductions:
The following deductions that are mandatory will be made from each paycheck: All applicable Federal and State taxes that are required to be deducted from U.S. workers and/or foreign workers. Federal Income Tax Withholding will only be deducted from H-2A employee's paycheck with the consent of both the employee and the employer. In the case that an H-2A employee does not provide a Social Security Number or an IRS issued Individual Taxpayer Identification Number AND the total annual wages for the employee are over $600, the employer must deduct backup withholding of 24% from each paycheck. The following benefits may apply at employer's discretion; subsequent deductions are voluntary and will be made from each paycheck if they are agreed upon by both parties and pre-authorized by the worker: Health Insurance Premiums, Retirement Plan Contributions, Wireless Phone plan, Cable/Satellite TV, Internet or other services primarily for the worker's convenience and benefit. ...See Addendum C

Work description

Duties may include: Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade, using brands, tags, paint, or tattoos. Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to help with crop planting and maintenance, & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
