Work description
Workers will perform one or more of the following duties under the supervision of the employer or designated supervisor: Feed and monitor sheep daily in pens and shelters. Maintain water supply systems to prevent freezing and ensure hydration for livestock. Inspect, repair, and reinforce livestock fencing and shelters to withstand winter weather. Clean and re-bed animal enclosures to ensure sanitary and insulated conditions. Assist with early-season lambing preparation and care as needed. Conduct health and wellness checks on livestock and report any issues. Perform snow removal and grounds maintenance to maintain accessibility to barns, feed storage, and equipment areas. Drive farm vehicles to transport supplies, feed, and equipment as necessary.
